He is an experienced freelance trainer and has, for over 14 years has been providing independent consultancy and training specialising in harm reduction approaches. This serves both statutory and voluntary organisations whose work brings them into contact with drug users to enable the delivery of more competent and effective interventions.

For the past 12 years Danny has been a dynamic, Operational and Development Manager for an NHS Drug Treatment service providing a range of practical and therapeutic interventions for drug users with the aim of reducing all drug related harm.

He is committed to the development of progressive and evidence based services that enhance all aspects of drug treatment provision.

Danny is an Executive Committee member of the UK Harm Reduction Alliance.
